Scholarships for Incoming First-Year students are available for application annually. If you are planning to enrol in your first year of an undergraduate degree at UC next year, it's worth applying for a scholarship (or five!) to fund your studies. More details about the scholarships available for 2026 will be available next year.

Applications for Incoming First-Year Student Scholarships are now closed
Applications are being processed and sent to Selection Committees.
Offers are expected to be sent out in the week commencing 7th泭October.
Each scholarship has different eligibility criteria泭such as泭the subject area, level, and/or qualification you泭plan to study at UC; your age, gender, ethnicity, and citizenship;泭and which high school泭and/or region泭you are coming from.泭
Incoming First-Year Scholarships are available specifically for:泭
- Mori and Pacific students
- Students泭who can demonstrate泭leadership泭potential
- Students with financial hardship or other personal circumstances
- Students moving away from home to study at UC (with泭accommodation costs).
We recommend you apply for all the泭scholarships you are eligible for, as it is possible to be awarded more than one scholarship at a time.泭
