There are a number of doctoral scholarships options available for students intending to enrol in a PhD at UC:

• The 'UC Doctoral Scholarships' - this is a term referring to a collection of scholarships which are funded centrally by the university. These scholarships have been under review and it is intended that applications will open in late September 2024, for a 2025 start. Further information will be available in mid-late September.

• Other Doctoral Scholarships - there are a number of other scholarships available that students can apply for within our����and summarised in the 'Other Doctoral Scholarship Options' section below. Check each scholarship's Regulations which outlines the eligibility and selection criteria.��

• Departmental Doctoral Scholarships - sometimes a Department has funding that they are able to offer a student a scholarship with - check with your supervisor to see if this is a possibility for you.��

• Apply for an existing project that offers scholarship funding - check out our Current Open Doctoral Scholarships page to see if there is an existing project topic that interests you which has attached scholarship funding.

• External Scholarships - try searching for a scholarship from an organisation��external to UC.
