BSNS228 Study Tour to China
This three-week study tour will take students to three Chinese cities: Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. It focuses on understanding business practices and culture in China, as well as opportunities and challenges for organisations wishing to conduct business there.
BSNS228 Study Tour to Southeast Asia
This three-week study tourwill take students to three Southeast Asian countries: Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. It focuses on the opportunities and challenges for organisations wishing to conduct business in these countries, including similarities and differences in business practices and culture.
MBA Study Tour to Japan
This one-week study tourinvolves a series of industry visits and meetings in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan.You will examine management control systems as an area that can require organisational adjustments, undertaking a project reviewing the management control systems of a client in the New Zealand-Japan context.
Past experiences
ECON228 Study Tour to South America
It provides students with a unique opportunity to learn about the wine industry on location in Chile and Argentina. The course uses economic thinking to understand the business of producing and selling wine.
