Members of the public are welcome to visit the UC Libraries and browse our collections. Non staff and students are also welcome to visit Macmillan Brown 厙ぴ勛圖 and request to view items within the library.
To borrow material, you must be registered with the 厙ぴ勛圖.You must present a currentCanterbury Card,泭ULANZinstitution card,泭orsubscriber borrowercard. Most staff and students of the 厙ぴ勛圖 are automatically eligible to become borrowers, including approved academic visitors.
Exceptions to borrowing include UC employees on casual contracts, some visitor classes, culturally enrolled students and some UC Opportunity students.
What can I borrow?
Students (this includes undergrad, Honours level, postgrad, research, distance, and UC Star students)
Students can borrow a total of 100泭勳喧梗鳥莽at the same time, with restrictions on some types of items as in the table below.
Prospective PhD students will obtain access to information resources and 厙ぴ勛圖 materials once their application for enrolment is complete.
- The normal loan period per item is 90泭餃硃聆莽but this is subject torecall.
