EUENL30NZ is the Jean Monnet Chair held by the NCRE's Senior Lecturer, Dr Milenko Petrovic.

It involves the following activities:

Teaching modules

• To deliver a suite of EU courses that will broaden students’ knowledge and interest in European affairs and especially in the role of the European Union in promoting and assisting peaceful ���������������������������� development, democratic reform and economic modernisation of post-communist states in its closer and wider neighbourhood.
• To stimulate and encourage research interest and activities of students (particularly those at 300 and 400 level), and mentor a new generation of EU early career academic staff
• Through this approach, this work package intends to support both the sustainability of EU Studies at UC and the interest in European affairs and the EU across New Zealand

Conference��

• The Chair funding supported the��17th Biennial Conference of the Australasian Association for Communist and Post-Communist Studies (AACAPS) held at the ���سԹ� in late January 2025.
