Engineering STAR courses

UC offers secondary students the opportunity to study first-year courses at year 12 and 13. You can do this through our STAR programme. The College of Engineering offers STAR course in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Forestry Science. Find out more STAR courses from UC Engineering.

HOW TO APPLY

MATH 199

AIMS - Advancing in Mathematical Sciences. MATH 199 is a course in calculus and linear algebra. Available also for Distance Study.

STATS 101

An introduction to the ideas, techniques and applications of statistics and probability.

COSC STAR

Computer Science STAR Course is for Year 13 students in Christchurch and is equivalent to COSC131 and COSC122.

FORE111

Forestry 111 explores the interaction between forests and people, linking forest types and locations to their products and services.
