Project Title:CFRP for re-usable launch vehicles

Project summary:The research project will test CFRP samples environments that simulate thermal and pressure conditions which spacecraft experience in space and when re-entering Earths atmosphere. This research will inform predictions of CFRP performance in space applications, including use in reusable launch vehicles (RLVs).Funding/stipend:To be negotiated

Project Title:Predicting the growth rate and detachment of electrogenerated bubbles for hydrogen production

Project summary:Issue: when generated, the bubbles cover the electrode surface, act as an electrical insulator and thus disrupt the process. Project: Develop a comprehensive CFD model able to predict the growth and detachment rate of bubbles
