HOW TO APPLY

Evening Courses

We offer Mandarin Chinese classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. These courses are a great opportunity to enhance your Chinese communication skills, whether you’re starting from scratch or already have some fluency. Our classes are taught by native Chinese-speaking teachers in a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment to make learning enjoyable and engaging.

Course Structure

Our courses are based on the standard HSK examination textbooks. The HSK is the Chinese equivalent of the IELTS—an internationally recognised exam that assesses Chinese language proficiency worldwide. The HSK exams focus on the most commonly used Chinese vocabulary, ensuring you can apply what you learn in real-life situations. By using the modern, user-friendly HSK textbooks, you can expect to build Mandarin proficiency in an effective and enjoyable way.

  • If you are a complete beginner, we recommend enrolling in HSK 1A courses.
  • If you’ve studied with us before, check with your teacher to determine which course level is most suitable.
  • If you're still unsure which level to enroll in, feel free to contact us. You may be offered a placement test to determine the most suitable level for your learning needs.

Note:In observance of Waitangi Day, classes will not be held on Thursday, 6th February.
