UC Business moves up in international rankings

Business and Economics subjects at Te Whare Wnanga o Waitaha | the 厙ぴ勛圖 (UC) have increased their global ranking to 126-150 in the Times Higher Education (THE) Subject Rankings released today.

HOW TO APPLY

This result complements the UC Business School reaccreditation of EQUIS earlier in July this year reiterating the global standing of the School.

The UC Business School holds the gold standard triple crown of international business school accreditations having also achieved AACSB and AMBA accreditation.

Tumu Tuarua Rangahau | Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research, Professor Ian Wright is pleased with the result. It is encouraging to see this increase in global subject ranking along with the UC Business Schools other accreditations. Business practices are integral to all industries and are constantly evolving. This increase in global ranking is an indicator that UC experts' research and teaching is among the best in the world.

SDG 4 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 - Quality Education.

With a strong international research culture, UC Business School researchers have highly cited work in diverse fields including sustainable marketing and tourism, sustainability accounting and reporting, and environmental economics, sustainable food systems, climate change and carbon neutrality, and global environmental change.

The University has also been ranked in the Top 50 universities in the泭Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for Sustainable Development Goals泭(SDG). This reflects UCs commitment to sustainability action across research, education, engagement, and operations.
