Applied Decision Making

27 February 2024

Are you keen to develop your capability in decision-making and making robust, effective individual organisational and strategic decisions? Check out our two-day short course on Applied Decision Making.

HOW TO APPLY

What will you gain?

Human beings make more than 12,775,000 decisions per year in every area of life – the problem is neuroscience suggests that nearly all of these decisions are reactive and unconscious. From an organisational perspective, poor decision making impacts all aspects of a business, for example stakeholders become disenfranchised, time and money is wasted, and change occurs as a threat to be resisted.

This interactive programme will develop participants’ capability in decision thinking and making robust, effective individual organisation and strategic decisions through the exploration of a variety of decision making models and stakeholder methodology.

By engaging in practical exercises, case studies, and interactive discussions, participants will develop the confidence and competence to make robust, sound strategic decisions under uncertainty and pressure.

At completion, attendees will recognise the pitfalls and common mistakes of reactionary or unconscious decision making and proficiently apply the steps needed to clarify and resolve complicated decisions.
