The泭Boost Your City Challenge泭is泭your chance泭develop ideas to engage young people with the downtown core of泭tautahi泭Christchurch.泭ChristchurchNZ泭is looking for innovative solutions泭that泭they can泭actually泭implement泭- this is your chance to have a real impact! No泭specific泭experience is泭required泭to take part泭and you do not need to泭already泭have an idea.
Over the course of a泭week泭you will work with a team to泭come up with泭and develop an idea with the support of mentors and input from both泭ChristchurchNZ泭and PWC. The challenge is泭a great way泭to build both your CV and your professional networks.
On the final day of the Challenge, your team will pitch your concept to a panel of judges泭from泭ChristchurchNZ泭and PWC. The泭top泭teams will take home泭a share of $3000 in cash prizes!泭

This Challenge is designed for UC students of any discipline and any level (from泭first-year泭to post-grad).泭

Do I need a team in advance?
You can register as an individual, pair or group. This challenge is open to any UC student any level and any泭programme泭of study.泭泭We will泭organise泭the泭teams.泭

The UC Centre for Entrepreneurship,泭ChristchurchNZ,泭and PWC泭are working in partnership to deliver the泭Boost Your City Challenge.

- Registrations closed: Wednesday, 26th April 2023泭
- Challenge Launch:泭Thursday 27th April 2023 3.00pm - 5.00pm in the city at PWC (Departing UC 2.30pm)
- Challenge Speed Mentoring: Friday 28th April 2023泭 11.30am -12.30pm at UCE泭
- Challenge Showcase and Awards: Tuesday 2nd May 2023 4.00pm - 7.00pm at PWC
