Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) gives students the opportunity to apply and build their skills in real-world contexts through activities like internships and placements, as part of their course or degree.
WIL activities help students develop their professional identity and capabilities, and deepen their understanding of how their knowledge from the classroom is applied in future employment.
The WILNZ conference, 20-21 April, will bring together WIL practitioners and academics from around Aotearoa and abroad, to discuss new ideas, best practice and innovative research. Guest speakers include the Chair of He Pou a Rangi Climate Change Commission Dr Rod Carr, and Datacoms Associate Director Futures, Insights and Experience, Tracey Cotter-Martin.
