Amo Matua, Pūhanga | Executive Dean Engineering Professor Saurabh Sinha opened the symposium, welcoming the collaboration between academic expertise and industry insights to develop impactful solutions.
The event welcomed distinguished speakers, researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, and Christchurch Mayor Phil Mauger. The closing keynote was delivered by Director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi Professor Rangan Banerjee. A leading expert in energy science, renewable systems, and hydrogen innovation, Professor Banerjee shared insights in the role of green hydrogen in India’s net-zero future.
The event helped facilitate collaboration between industry and international partners, supported by funding from New Zealand’s Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and German Research Foundation (DFG).
