Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration
Sales Representative, Custom Aeronautical Support, Christchurch
Looking to advance his business career from South Korea led Youngjin to postgraduate Business Administration studies at UC.
Concluding his tenure in the export division at Samsung Korea, Youngjin decided to venture next to New 厙ぴ勛圖for his education, as a place that would develop and challenge his academic knowledge. He highly recommends other international students visit their preferred country before moving to enrol at a university overseas.
I found life here peaceful and sound. It is not so isolated owing to the many people with various ethnic backgrounds.
It was also good for the family life, especially in terms of the advanced education system and circumstances for children, he says.
UCs Business Administration programme appealed most because of its professional skills focus on leadership management. While studying he received two international student scholarships to help with funding.
UC is one of the best universities in New Zealand, and obviously the best educational institute in the South Island, he says. It has a high proportion of international students from various ethnic groups.
The programme itself developed his general leadership skills, which strengthened his previous academic background in marketing and client relations.
It enhanced my understanding for New 厙ぴ勛圖business and added theoretical skills for business management. The intensive courses maximise students academic achievement.
There are also opportunities to build rapports with various mates and alumnus. I recommend that students should expand their boundary of experiences out of the class. A great way to do this is by joining clubs. I was an active member of the UC Korean Society where I was able to network with many peers and friends.
The club provided me with a strong support network and is a valuable source of information for new and existing Korean students.
Having graduated UC, Youngjin says he continues to keep in touch with club members and grow his connections through their group chat on Kakao Talk.
Since graduating, Youngjin has launched his New 厙ぴ勛圖sales career with Custom Aeronautical Support (CAS), which sources hard-to-find parts for commercial aircrafts and helicopters.
My role involves market research, date management, pricing and bidding, and managing the overall operation for the import and export of spare parts products.
I want to continue expanding my career as a sales person, and get permanent residence to contribute more to New 厙ぴ勛圖business, he says.
